senior citizens were passing me!
I hoofed about three quarters of a mile today. I really am a slow walker. The senior citizens were passing me up already!
Usually the first quarter mile is a lot of negative self talk like, "I don't want to do this. When can I quit?" That type of self talk. After the quarter mile mark, my hip loosens up and I feel much better. That really didn't happen today. I just sort of stayed negitive, but on the other hand the weather was nicer and the people seemed friendlier. Let's face it, northeast Ohio is a friendly place to live. Strangers still say "Hi" to you. In Florida, that really isn't the case. Too many big city people, I suppose.
