About Soft Sand Running
I ran about 20 minutes yesterday. I cut it short for fear I would screw up my neck again. Today I made up for it. I ran for about 35 minutes, maybe 40. I was brave enough to try Podrunner Interval Couch to 5K week 2. Yipee! I did it. No problems with my neck, but I went a little too fast when I came down the steps. My knee started to act up, but I took authority over it and it is fine now.
I know why I like to run on the trail at Tarpon Lake. It is because of the packed down sand. I think I’ll try running in the sand. I hear it is a good work out and low impact too. Here is a mixed review on the subject.
